Riders crossing the volcanic landscape of Lanzarote

Horse riding in Lanzarote

Discover Lanzarote at a different pace

Guided horse rides through the volcanoes of Lanzarote, with the sea and the craters in view. Small groups, calm horses, and most of our riders have never sat on one before.

Pick your ride

Every price includes taxes, and you pay at the stables. Private rides for your group are on request, just ask.

How it works

From clicking to cantering

  1. 01

    Choose and message us

Pick a ride and message us on WhatsApp. Nothing is charged. We reply to confirm the horses and the time, normally the same day.

  2. 02

    Arrive and meet your horse

Come about fifteen minutes early. You meet the horse you will ride, you are told its name and what it is like, and you get a helmet that fits.

  3. 03

    Ride out

A guide goes with you and the group moves at the pace of whoever is least sure. You pay at the stables afterwards, never online.

What riders say

Rated 4.9 on Tripadvisor

Travellers’ Choice 2026, and ranked among the top outdoor activities on the island.

  • “Staff were very good at matching horses to rider ability — more able riders could canter and gallop whilst other, more nervous riders could plod along at a slower pace.”
    Pamela-Jane · Tripadvisor
  • “Before we left the stables, a little brief about our horses’ character, which is always helpful!”
    Nessa, Dublin · Tripadvisor
  • “We are complete beginners, with my 4-year-old daughter. We were able to give carrots to our horse Espurna. We felt very safe.”
    M. M. · Tripadvisor

A day with us

  • A group on horseback above the Lanzarote coast
  • A rider and horse facing the sea
  • Riders coming up a track between volcanoes

You have never done this. Good.

Most people who ride with us have never been on a horse. You get one of the calm ones, a guide with you the whole way, and a group that goes at the pace of whoever is least sure.
